Skipp Surfboard restoration/SOLD

$280.00

The first photo shows a before/after to demonstrate the difference, side by side. Its easy to get to the end of a job and lose sight of how bad the board was prior. I sanded this board as much as I dared, almost to glass. The decal had been put on glass under the filler coat and had badly delaminated. At the tail there had been a small foam patch fitted and there were numerous dings all over.  After sanding, I repaired all dings, replaced the decal and colour matched the repair on the tail. I then refiller coated the bottom.

This was prior to me keeping a tally of hours invested, but I would estimate 20-25 hours.

This board was mine, so cost was irrelevant, but I later sold the board for $280, so I would say $200-$250.
