Surfboard Restorations
Soooo, I’m not real good at writing these blogs and not really sure if anyone reads them, but here we go.
I’ve not listed anything new on the site for a while as I’ve been in the shed doing repairs and some restoration work on boards, and was waiting to list them all at once. However, people have been buying them before I can list them. I guess, if you see something in the collection list, make an inquiry, no guarantee it’s for sale, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
I’ve also been able to help several people who have been looking for specific magazines and books that I had but weren’t listed, so don’t hesitate to ask.
Here is a run down on what’s been happening and why I haven’t had time (read lazy) to update the site.
I’ve made a couple more boards will (post pics at some point) and as stated above, have been repairing and restoring boards (again will post before and after pics in the near future) and will be offering this service on the mid north coast.
I had a 17 day trip to Lakey Peak in March, gotta say I had a ball. A couple of double overhead days and surf everyday bar one. Made a new board to take along with the one I made for last year. I was really happy with it. I am hoping to make a few boards in the future, just got to get my confidence up. I have a couple of orders for mates and will see how they go. I’m happy to talk about it.
A ‘real’ job, Kids, their sport and trying to get in the water is also keeping me busy.
Get wet,
