Vintage Surfboard / no longer available

8’1″ x 2 1/2″   with a 9″ deep fin but its 19″ long

This is a 67/68 no namer and we are selling “as is”. Normally we like to sell complete boards, ready to surf. However, with this board I think it needs to go as is. I was always intending on using it as a ‘rider’, however, if it hasn’t happened in the last 15-20yrs, it won’t happen.

Its quite a nice shape, double ender style, with 50/50 rails, a good rocker and it feels nice under the arm. A great start to a collection, as it was for me, or equally good as a rider. It weighs in at a touch under 9kg but definitely feels lighter than that ( I may have to check my scales)

The dark yellow marks you can see on the deck are depressions and will sand out better when you finish sanding off the original gelcoat. It still has the ridge line around centre of rails. Yes, it does have some dings needing repair, but it doesn’t look anything too hard.

There are stress fractures at the front of the fin, but I’m sure that these are only in the gelcoat and the fin feels solid. The fin could probably have a pretty up, and by the look of it you may need some protective equipment as I’ve seen swords that aren’t this long.

All offers submitted for consideration.
