Emerald Surfboard
1st generation thruster 81/82, shaped by Steve Griffith.

In pretty tidy condition for its age. It does have a few issues, RHS fin needs to be strengthened/reset, centre fin needs to be sealed, the decal in the centre of the deck has delaminated (which is not unusual) and it does have a 15-20mm twist. There are any number of restorers who are now doing great things with twists, but I don’t know that you will ever get this FULLY straight. There is a shadow line in the photo on the left/yellow rail and looks like it has sunk, it is definitely only a shadow line due to poor photography technique ( I will deal with him/me later)

Now the GOOD NEWS:
It is a First Generation Thruster, from a notable/collectable surfboard manufacturer and shaper. It is, and always will be highly collectable and there aren’t too many out there, as they were only shaped for a very limited time. It is in good restorable condition and will only appreciate in value.
