Bar Beach swap meet and restorations

There is a swap meet coming up for those interested. This meet is replacing the Catherine Hill Bay Meet, which was cancelled after the council ‘discovered’ asbestos in the Bowling Club there. It is predominantly for vintage/retro surfboards. It’s on at Bar Beach Bowling Club, Sunday 14/10/18. If you want a stall or more info, contact me and I will put you in touch with he organiser.

I’ve been doing repairs and restoration work on my boards for a while, and now am doing them for others. I have posted before and after pics with hours and costs where possible. I have more to list and more to do, so come back and check from time to time.

I do have a number of boards waiting to be listed for sale, but may not get to them until after the Newcastle swap meet.

The waves local to me haven’t been very good for a while and unfortunately my surfing has suffered. On the other hand, I’ve had more time in the shed, and if that’s all I’ve got to complain about, things must be Okay.
